It’s been a long time…

I’m in my last semester at school, and well into my internship. Things are going great! I’m on my way to learning PHP..wOOt! Worked up a proposal for my internship site and they loved it! My supervisor told me that I did a great job with little direction.
So, that’s about it for now… ciao!

A bit like giving birth…

So, I’ve got an interview at a possible internship site (yay!) and I am trying to familiarize myself with the website.  They apparently use this CMS Made Simple which I found anything but simple to navigate… but after hours of hard labor I got it to upload onto my webspace so now I can fiddle around with it and see how it works so that I’ll be all prepared!

When I should be doing homework…

I did a complete re-design of the Z-Bones site(it kinda breaks apart in ie… but I don’t think it looks too bad)…woops…still need some tweaks but it will get there.
Still no internship… some leads that I have needed to find the time to follow-up on. No word yet on the design competition that I previously posted about.

Signed up for my final semester of school… exciting and scary all at the same time, so in August I’ll be a graduate… I’ll have done it, yay!

Finished!

The re-design competition for school.  Gallaxy Communications Redesign  Here is a screenshot of the original site:

It may load slow, and I haven’t actually tested it in Explorer yet so it may just look like a pile of crap.

Even if I don’t win (but fingers crossed that I do, people)… I am pleased with the design and it stretched what I know how to do.  It’s done entirely in photoshop and image ready.  I’ve never used those programs for a design before.  Also not sure if I uploaded it correctly, I didn’t put into Dreamweaver, just exported the html file from image ready.  I also don’t know, yet, how to integrate the design using css.

So, yes… at least it’s done.  Onward to other stuff.
